Simply sign-up online to get started. We will survey your location or give you IoT options that meet your needs. Determine if your property or Ride are eligible to join the network. All information is confidential.
Get Connected
If we determine your Auto or location are a good fit, we will set up an appointment to install your devices! You pay nothing. We cover the cost and maintenance of your device and pay you a share.
Get Paid
Provide mapping, data, and IoT coverage and earn a share of the rewards! We assume all of the risk (investment and installation time). You will have full access to your earnings.

IoT Gateways are small devices (approx. 5.5” x 5.5” x 1.5”) that provide wireless coverage to help someone find their lost dog or detect a wild-fire and more. Hotspots mine digital currency called $HNT that can be sold or traded on an exchange for cash.
No. You do not have to pay to join anything or to get started. You will never be asked to purchase anything at any time. You do not have to refer your friends to earn anything (though we do have a referral program).
Hotspots are just as secure as any other home device. Only devices authorized to access the network can use your hotspot, so you are protected from unauthorized use. Just like your ISP devices, the hotspots receive regular updates to maintain security.
Hotspots are similar to other home devices. However, it is not like a cell phone or Alexa device because it does not have a camera, microphone, or speakers. It is more like an internet modem or wifi router that you get from your ISP (Spectrum, Frontier, etc.)
All of our hotspots are Helium approved. Only Helium approved hotspots can run on the Helium network. They are approved by the community and the Manufacturing Oversight Committee which governs vendor onboarding.
The hotspot uses only a tiny fraction of your network so there is no impact on your internet speed.
IoT Gateways use approximately the same amount of energy as a 5W LED light-bulb, which comes out to as low as $0.60/month.
IoT Gateways get rewarded for pinging IoT devices (such as pet tags, scooter or bike rentals, vehicle trackers, fire sensors, etc.) and witnessing other nearby gateways. Rewards are deposited into a digital wallet in the form of Helium token (HNT) which can be sold on an exchange for USD.

If you own an Alexa device, that device is already using itself as a hotspot through a service called “Amazon Sidewalk”, but you are not being rewarded for it. They are using your bandwidth to pass their data and you were likely not aware of this because it was automatically enabled without informing you.

Absolutely! And you can possibly order one from us, but stock is very limited and in some cases, manufacturers are sold out or on months long backorder due to high demand.
